Premiere: Mike Q's 60-minute Boiler Room New York DJ set with Kevin JZ Prodigy

Based in New Jersey, 25-year-old DJ MikeQ has been popping up in mixes from the likes of Bok Bok and Kingdom for a while now. Across the pond he’s known as one of the key figures responsible for the revival of ballroom and vogue house. As well as releasing on Kingdom’s Fade To Mind label, he runs his own label Qween Beat which is definitely worth keeping ears on.

MikeQ and Kevin JZ Prodigy recently played a 60-minute DJ set at Boiler Room New York and we’re excited to share it with you today. It’s a thrillingly intense listen and, for the uninitiated, a great introduction to the contemporary ballroom scene.
