Hailing from Pittsburgh, Chris Laufman makes freaked out pop music as Wise Blood. Full of darkly camp theatrical flourishes, Loud Mouths, his new single out on Monday, could be the gloomy backdrop to a early 00s hip hop diss track but instead provides the perfect foil to Laufman’s highly strung vocals. To celebrate his arrival in the UK for a string of dates next week, he made us this equally madcap mixtape featuring tracks by EZ, Karl Eliasberg & State Russian Folk Orchestra, Tom Waits, Guido and more.
