Listen: Lockah - Freaks Come Out

Tom “Big Poppa” Banks – better known by his contemporaries as Lockah – has been carving a glistening wave of diamonds through electronic music over the past few years. His influence and guidance on the music scene in the cold reaches of Aberdeen has been the starting point for several artists, including T_A_M, Grobbie, and even myself. Known primarily for his work within the Brighton-based Donky Pitch crew, Tom returned to the extreme north recently with a new sub-imprint of his own label Tuff Wax, which celebrated its first release with his very own 'Sports Day' EP.

Today we are premiering a new Lockah cut taken from the fifth instalment of Moveltraxx's popular compilation series, 'Street Bangers Factory'. Freaks Come Out is a Miami bass fuelled club jam that's definitely one for a Saturday night dance battle, maybe even to soundtrack the bonus tie-break round.
