Mano Le Tough - Please

Mano Le Tough is releasing his debut LP next month, following a run of solid house records steadily released on labels like Prins Thomas’ Internasjonal and Tensnake’s Mirau over the years. Tough’s introspective house might find inevitable comparisons to John Talabot’s ‘ƒIN’ from last year, especially as Munich-based imprint Permanent Vacation is the home for both of these albums, but teaser track Please is less about mood and more about build and reward. The elements slowly pile upon one another until a longing vocal line is released in the third act, but it’s brief, gone almost as soon as it appears.

Permanent Vacation will release ‘Changing Days’ on February 22nd.
