slowthai's 'Happyland' is bringing Pa Salieu, Shygirl and IDLES to Northampton

Tickets are now on sale to ‘Happyland’, a new one-day festival from slowthai taking place this September in his hometown of Northampton.

The rapper has handpicked acts that represent each facet of UK music: IDLES, Beabadoobee, Easy Life, Ethan P. Flynn, Greentea Peng, Izzie Gibbs, Shygirl and Pa Salieu.

Happyland is billed as ‘The Happiest Place in the Universe’ where the policy is: ‘No Smile, No Entry,’ and is due to take place at Northampton Cricket Ground on the 25th.

“This has been a dream of mine forever,” he wrote in a tweet.
