1. Cooper T - 'Gettin' In The Way'

Rooted in the flickering all-nighter club scene of ricocheting post grime, jungle and breakbeats, Manchester duo Cooper T splice the uncontainable energy of the Madchester and early '90s rave scenes with the punk DNA of modern trailblazers like slowthai. The pair's rebellious new single 'Gettin' In The Way' is already shaping up to be their biggest hit so far, leaving us wanting more and more from this charismatic new act.

2. LVRA - 'anxiety'

After appearing in our 15 Most Exciting Artists For 2023 list, Chinese-Scottish artist and producer LVRA is off to a great start this year with 'anxiety', the lead single from their newly announced 7-track project 'Soft Like Steel', slated for release on March 22. Ricocheting between undulating, ethereal whispers and industrial synths, the rising prodigy continues to hone one of the most inimitable sounds about right now.

3. Cydnee with a C - 'Cry Alone'

Floating between pop, R&B and K-pop, Cydnee with a C has the potential to be the rave scene's next big star. Mining the edges of the Gen-Z jungle revival that artists such as Nia Archives and PinkPantheress have spearheaded, the up-and-coming talent's latest cut 'Cry Alone' has had us smashing the replay button this week.

4. Andre Bugatti - 'MY BAD, LEGIT'

Australia-based indie hip hop artist Andre Bugatti is in a lane of his own. Currently shaking up the underground rap scene down-under, his new single 'MY BAD, LEGIT' is a diamond-fuelled sizzler that could light up any party.

5. Archy Moor - 'I've Been'

21-year-old rapper Archy Moor is one of the most exciting UK rappers rising through the ranks right now. There's been a feeling orbiting this artist for a few years now that big things are around the corner and with his forthcoming EP 'Bonnie Hill' dropping on February 10 it seems like 2023 could be his year.
