Blu Ernest shares visual for drill-infused breakup track 'My Ones'
Having already got off to a great start this year, following the release of ‘Dodged A Bullet’ and ‘Disarm Me’, Brighton-based newcomer Blu Ernest continues to build on his momentum with a new single and video.
Entirely self-produced by the rising artist, ‘My Ones’ is the third track from his forthcoming ‘____ On My Mind’ project and explores the emotions of a fleeting relationship before it fades away for good.
Feelings of heartache and angst can be felt coursing Blu’s melodies while his introspective pen game reveals a mix of late-night indie and R&Drill bubbling underneath.
Quickly becoming synonymous with top-tier visuals, Blu’s latest offering is no different and drops with an eye-catching music video. Splicing grainy VHS-style camera work with crisp night-time shots, the up-and-comer glides about in a car for a nostalgic after-hours cut, fitting of his late-night indie sound.
Blu Ernest’s new project ‘____ On My Mind’ is expected to drop later this year. Stay tuned to see what the emerging talent has in store for us next.
