North West London singer-songwriter Sabah Kenway was always destined to tread a path in the world of music. The Londoner’s love for soul, jazz and R&B didn’t come about until she was 13, when her music teacher at the time introduced her to the likes of Aretha Franklin, Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse, giving her a whole new outlook on music and opening her eyes to the power of lyricism. Still influenced by those greats that changed her perception of music during her teenage years, Sabah is taking iconic retro sounds and re-packaging them for a modern generation.
