A defining voice in the new wave of UK club music, BAKEY has carved out a unique space with his gritty, rave-inspired sound. His 'Backrooms' EP - featuring collaborations with Felixcw and nods to Burial-esque atmospheres - showcases his ability to blend nostalgic textures with cutting-edge club sonics. “This mix is a pretty straight-up reflection of where I’m at right now as a DJ," BAKEY explains. "A mixture of UKG, a few techno bits, and some percussive bass. It’s definitely more heads-down than what I’d play at a festival. Feels more like the kind of set I’d run in a dark, low-ceiling room, proper sound, with a close crowd that’s super locked in.”

With a stacked 2025 that included a headline residency at London’s Phonox in April, and festival appearances at Parklife, with Outlook and Glastonbury on the horizon, and a debut album in the works, BAKEY's ascent shows no signs of slowing.
