Lapalux in the mix for SSENSE

Earlier this week, Lapalux shared a brand new mix for Canadian online retailer SSENSE. Much of the 50-minute mix feels like an accurate reflection of the range of his heady sound: starting with some Moondog, through breezy boom bap from Quasimoto, a standout from Connan Mockasin's 'Caramel', to the still irrepressible beat on Lil Ugly Mane's Throw Dem Gunz. But more excitingly is the presence a couple of new 'uns from Lapalux, in the shape of remixes of Andreya Triana and Purple Ferdinand and an original called Hypnagogia, a lush little number full of familiar heart and haze. 

Besides soundtracking a short film, the Brainfeeder artist has only really shared the odd new tidbit since his memorable debut 'Nostalchic' last March, so any signs of new material on the horizon are most welcome.
