After Now Positions Toulouse as a Rising Hub for Electronic Culture

New platform blends studio, label and early-hour club series to reshape the city’s nightlife.

A new electronic music platform is quietly reshaping the landscape in southern France. Founded by producer Gilles Moncaubeig, After Now is positioning Toulouse as a growing centre for contemporary club culture through an integrated model that combines a recording studio, record label and live event series.

At the heart of the project is EARLYDANCE, a club concept designed to challenge the traditional late-night format. Running from 9pm to 2am, the series focuses on what founder Moncaubeig describes as the “peak hours” of the dancefloor, prioritising intensity and connection over all-night endurance.

The programme has already hosted internationally respected electronic artists including Henrik Schwarz, with the next edition set for 28th March featuring Âme at Toulouse venue La Cabane.

Alongside the events, After Now launched a high-spec studio in 2025 equipped with rare synthesisers, a Grand Studio and a dedicated Dolby Atmos room, allowing producers to test new material in an in-house DJ booth designed to mirror club conditions.

With writing camps, masterclasses and collaborative sessions feeding into its label output, the platform aims to create a self-sustaining pipeline from studio experimentation to dancefloor release. Toulouse’s electronic scene continues to expand, and After Now lands as one of its most ambitious new cultural engines.
