Blossom Hill Teams Up With Facta On 'Darkest Hour' Remix
Blossom Hill’s introspective debut EP, 'Home Colours', gets a club-ready transformation with the release of the 'Home Colours Remix EP', out 14th January 2025, via Loose Fit Records. Featuring reworks by Facta, Debba, Kin Teal, and Pépe, the project distils the emotional depth of the original into four tracks primed for the dancefloor.
Each remixer brings a unique touch to Blossom Hill’s personal narrative. First up is Facta, who gives 'Darkest Hour' a streamlined, techno-infused reinterpretation.
“For my first release, I was perhaps too precious with the originals,” Blossom Hill admits. “Releasing the music felt cathartic, but handing over the stems to these artists feels like the start of an exciting new chapter.”
While the original EP explored a range of emotional and sonic landscapes, the remix EP shifts focus to rhythm and energy, emphasising movement without losing the personal touch. This project isn’t just about reworking songs; it’s about collaboration, transformation, and finding new ways for deeply personal stories to resonate in communal spaces.
'Darkest Hour - Facta Remix' is out now via Loose Fit Records.
