Casey Conroy Pens Ode to Overthinkers On 'In My Head'

An alt-pop track with a nostalgic Y2K feel

Casey Conroy has shared an earworm pop track that she describes as "a love song for overthinkers."

Her first release in partnership with TooLost, Casey's latest release - her second this year - is a heartfelt ode to the the burden of an overactive mind.

'In My Head' is sure to give millennials the nostalgic feels for the 2000s, as Casey took inspiration from the Alt-Rock era she grew up listening to. “It’s a cathartic experience [that] makes you want to belt with all your heart running around your room with a hairbrush microphone,” she says of the track.

A music video accompanies the single release, which sees Casey dance around an apartment alone, mimicking exactly the feeling the track evokes.

Originally from Orlando, Casey Conroy is now based in LA. She fell in love with making music through her father's compositions, and soon found a passion for storytelling. Since beginning her musical journey in 2019, Casey has released a consistent stream of singles, an EP, and worked with artists such as url and Willie Colon.

'In My Head' is out now via Ten In Twelve.
