Eliza Rose Announces New Project 'ARCADIA: PLEASUREDOME'

The six-track record, produced by Sega Bodega, explores Eliza's formative years in London’s rave scene.

Eliza Rose has announced 'ARCADIA: PLEASUREDOME', a new six-track project set for release on 11 September via her own Rosebud Recordings.

Produced by Sega Bodega, whose credits include Shygirl, Rosalía, Björk and FKA twigs, the project marks the first part of a larger body of work still to come. Alongside the announcement, Rose has shared ‘DOVE’, a track that looks back on her adolescence and formative years spent immersed in London’s rave culture.

“‘DOVE’, in particular, explores those adolescent years and their strange duality,” Rose explains. “The light and the dark days, raving, pushing your limits, falling in and out of love, ending up in dangerous, even violent situations.”

‘DOVE’ follows recent single ‘KITE’, which will also feature on the forthcoming project. Together, the tracks point towards a more personal chapter for Rose, documenting the experiences that shaped her both as an artist and a selector.

It comes during a busy year for the Hackney-born artist, who recently joined the FABRICLIVE. series with FABRICLIVE. presents Eliza Rose, featuring productions from Jev and DJ Marky. Rose has also continued to bring her DJ sets to stages including Coachella, Glastonbury and Manchester’s Warehouse Project.

Since breaking through with the platinum-selling ‘B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All)’, Rose has established herself across both underground club culture and the mainstream, while continuing to develop her Rosebud Records label and champion the UK garage sound that runs through her work.

'DOVE' is out now via Rosebud Recordings.
