EsDeeKid Reunites With Wraith9 On ‘BANDIT’, Filmed Back In Liverpool

The ‘Rebel’ rapper and producer link up again as the 'Council House Rat Tour' heads for Europe.

EsDeeKid has reunited with Wraith9, the producer behind his debut project ‘Rebel’, on a new single called ‘BANDIT’.

The pairing feels like a return to where it all started. The video was shot in EsDeeKid’s hometown of Liverpool by long-time collaborator Archie Erskine, bringing the story full circle.

It lands as the North American leg of his Council House Rat Tour nears its end, after sold-out shows across the continent, including Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium and the Brooklyn Paramount. On 2nd November the tour moves to Europe, taking in Berlin’s Columbiahalle, Paris’ L’Olympia and London’s OVO Academy Wembley, before finishing with two shows at Liverpool’s Blackstone Street Warehouse.

The numbers explain the demand. EsDeeKid has racked up more than 2 billion streams, and ‘Rebel’, released in June 2025, has become one of the defining rap records of the decade so far. It peaked at No. 23 on the Billboard 200 and No. 8 on the UK Official Albums Chart, and it is now the longest-charting UK rap album in Billboard history. By the end of last year it had become the most-streamed rap album in the world on a daily basis. It also produced three UK Top 20 singles and several Billboard Hot 100 entries, and earned him a BRIT Award nomination for Best Breakthrough Artist.

With ‘BANDIT’, EsDeeKid goes back to the producer who helped build that world.
