Everything But The Girl share new single 'Caution To The Wind'
Following on from their January comeback single 'Nothing Left To Lose', Everything But The Girl share the latest slice from 'Fuse', their first album in over two decades.
Entitled 'Caution To The Wind', the indie-electronic duo's Tracey Thorn describes the new track as "a simple song about arrival and seizing the moment, so with the music we tried to capture the feeling of a perpetual point in time."
Ben Watt adds: "I let the words quickly collapse and loop inside the production. The drums emerge and repeat, and everything then starts to unfold in cycles of anticipation and release. I guess it's just classic nightclub tension and euphoria."
'Fuse', out April 21 via Buzzin’ Fly/Virgin, will be Everything But The Girl's first new album since 1999's 'Temperamental'. The duo recorded the album in spring/summer 2021 in secret at home as well as in a small riverside studio outside Bath with engineer Bruno Ellingham.
