Friendly Fires and Foals launch record label

Named after their occasional London-based clubnight and bi-monthy NTS radio show, Friendly Fires’ Jack Savidge and Edwin Congreave of Foals are launching a new label – Deep Shit Records, on which Congreave will debut his first single, ‘Heal’.

In preparation of Foals’ forthcoming third studio album throughout the summer, Congreave has also been quietly honing his own production skills – a move that continues the Deep Shit parties and radio show’s knack for showcasing music from the more discerning end of deep house and techno spectrum. Heal is a kinetic house track with a touch of emotive chords and assertive male vocal snippets, which can be downloaded here.

‘Heal’ will be released in limited edition on vinyl in September, featuring a ‘Redux’ version of the original, as well as a reinterpretation from A1 Bassline.

Deep Shit will release Edwin Congreave’s ‘Heal’ on 17th September, 2012.
