Interplanetary Criminal enlists Porij on rave-infused 'Don't Hurt Me', announces new compilation album

"I hope people take this uninhibited energy to the dance floor..."

To celebrate the announcement of Interplanetary Criminal's upcoming compilation album 'All Thru The Night', out March 29, the UK producer today releases a brand-new single titled 'Don’t Hurt Me'.

Made in collaboration with the dynamic Manchester band Porij, the rave-ready new track sees original dreamlike vocals from the group layered on top of a bouncy, garage-house beat. Discussing the track, Porij said: “Lyrically this track’s all about letting go of reservations and allowing yourself to be vulnerable. I hope people take this uninhibited energy to the dance floor."

New album 'All Thru The Night' is a 15-track compilation of entirely new music from the very best in UK garage including Main Phase, Bakey and Highrise. The compilation also features artwork by cult-Manchester designer DONKWEAR.

Speaking on the forthcoming release, Interplanetary Criminal says: "The Garage scene is thriving. I wanted to make sure every crucial artist from all sides of the UK garage scene was featured; from the moment it started popping off in 2019 to now.

"When I reached out to people, I told them the brief was to 'make the most authentic UK garage record that you could' and that’s what they’ve done. 'All Thru the Night' shows the underground side, the dark side and the bubblier side of the current UK garage sound. For people that haven’t heard a garage record before, if they wanted an introduction to the sound now then this is the compilation for it.”

'All Thru The Night' is out March 29 via Locked On Records.
