Jackson Homer's Returns With 'Nu Wav(s) & Fade Outs' - A Trip Through House, Heartbreak and Hope
Rising UK producer Jackson Homer makes a bold return with his second album, 'Nu Wav(s) & Fade Outs', an 11-track journey through shimmering house grooves, late-night nu-disco, and introspective soul. Out now, the album sees Homer stepping into a new era as both an artist and executive producer.
Following the success of breakout singles like 'Watching Me Dance', 'Hop On By' and 'Outside' - which earned support from BBC Introducing and featured on major Spotify playlists - this record signals Homer’s most ambitious work to date. Drawing on sonic influences from the late '80s and modern dancefloor icons like Disclosure and Kaytranada, the Birmingham-born artist balances timeless club energy with emotional depth.
The album's lead single 'Speak Your Mind' sets the tone, pairing Homer’s infectious production with Australian house star Tentendo, capturing the sun-drenched spirit of Ibiza. Elsewhere, collaborations with Ric Wilson, Devin Tracy, and emerging names like Pangeaux and MATTII inject global flavour into Homer’s distinct sound.
“This album was born during the most challenging period of my life,” says Homer. “It’s about resilience, collaboration, and pushing creative boundaries.”
Raised in a musical household with a DJ father, Homer’s musical instincts run deep. With 'Nu Wav(s) & Fade Outs', he proves he’s not just riding the wave of electronic music - he’s making his own.
'Nu Wav(s) & Fade Outs' is out now via Sidekick Music.
