LAMIA Ascends With Euphoric New Single ‘Angel’
Rising electronic artist and producer LAMIA returns with 'Angel,' a soaring, emotionally charged new single that cements her place among the most innovative voices in underground electronic music.
Lifted from her forthcoming album 'Nighthawks' (out spring 2026), the track is a euphoric collision of ambient soundscapes, deconstructed club energy, and post-trance atmospherics - a world where intensity and vulnerability coexist.
Written and produced during a bleak London winter in the Electronic Music Studios at Goldsmiths, 'Angel' emerged as what LAMIA describes as “a light that appeared and guided me through the darkness.” Drawing inspiration from philosopher Mark Fisher’s concept of hauntology, she channels the uncanny and transcendent power of sound: “Music can feel like empty space that gives you chills. 'Angel' is very special to me.”
An MMus graduate of Goldsmiths and alum of Leeds Conservatoire and The BRIT School, LAMIA has been lauded for her boundary-breaking live performances at Berghain, BBC Introducing Live, and the Berlin Music Video Awards.
With 'Angel,' LAMIA expands her cinematic, experimental world - one that feels futuristic yet profoundly human. As anticipation builds for 'Nighthawks,' she continues to redefine what electronic music can be: visceral, intellectual, and transcendent.
LAMIA will appear at Berlin’s MostWanted:Music Conference on 13th November 13 for an Artist Research talk exploring her unique intersection of sound and performance.
