Laura Roy explores her identity on soulful cut 'Sunrise'

Hailing from Canada but based out of London, singer and producer Laura Roy is developing a unique brand of soul music which combines her love for ’70s folk and ’90s R&B.

Her latest release ‘Sunrise’ is the third single to be shared from her forthcoming ‘Tides’ EP and taps into her upbringing in rural Nova Scotia to produce a rich and honest sound.

Awash with funky bass grooves, golden harmonies and Laura’s stylish vocal presence, the track reflects on the artist’s journey so far and takes an introspective dive into her identity. We’ve been working with Laura on the single via our DMY Artists.
