Listen to Dean Blunt's soundtrack for Burberry's SS24 London Fashion Week runway show
Dean Blunt has become a surprise star of London Fashion Week this year, collaborating with Burberry for their headline-grabbing runway show.
The Burberry Spring/Summer 2024 show is proving to be the headline act of the iconic fashion festival so far, drawing in stars such as Kano, Jason Statham, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Kylie Minogue, Michael Ward, Naomi Campbell, Skepta, Bukayo Saka, Burna Boy and many more.
Typically operating away from the limelight, Dean Blunt has spent the last decade hammering home his status as one of the UK music's most prolific and mysterious figures. The Hackney artist produced the runway soundtrack for the new Burberry show, featuring a mix of unheard tracks and previously released collaborations (two with his long-time collaborator TYSON). The soundtrack consists of 8 songs in total.
Earlier this year, Burberry used elusive electronic star Burial's music for their Autumn/Winter 2023 runway show - marking the debut of the brand's new creative director Daniel Lee.
Lee has been known for reviving Bottega Veneta and has already brought a lot of attention on Burberry in his short tenure so far, reviving the old Burberry Equestrian Knight logo from 1909, as well as working with the likes of Skepta, Shygirl and John Glacier on a recent campaign.
