Lo Simple Drop Debut Album 'I Become You'

King Krule collaborator Gal Go joins forces with SHEIVA and Danny Jerome on first full-length project.

London trio Lo Simple have officially released their debut album 'I BECOME YOU,' out now via THEFT.

Made up of saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Gal Go - known for his work with King Krule - alongside SHEIVA and drummer Danny Jerome, the London-based group are quickly carving out a lane of their own with a sound that blends post-rock, shoegaze and experimental electronics.

Recorded with Andy Ramsay at his South East London studio before being refined in the band’s own creative spaces, 'I BECOME YOU' is rooted in collaboration and instinctive experimentation. Across the record, Lo Simple explore themes of identity, healing, connection and personal transformation, balancing moments of chaos with striking emotional clarity.

Tracks like 'Same Clothes' and 'Coming Down' capture the project’s more restless edges, while songs such as 'Calm' and 'Paradise' offer moments of release and reflection. At the heart of the album sits its title track, inspired by a centuries-old poem by Amir Khusro and performed in Persian/Urdu.

Built from spontaneous jams and late-night studio sessions, 'I BECOME YOU' feels deeply personal yet sonically expansive.

The band will celebrate the album with a live show at Ormside Projects on 21 May.

'I BECOME YOU' is out now via THEFT.
