Nippa Comes Home With New EP 'Homegrown'

The Tottenham artist's nine-track project navigates humble beginnings and international ambition.

Nippa has stepped into his next chapter with 'Homegrown', a nine-track EP that weaves together yearning R&B, hypnotic dance, swaggering rap and raw soul into the most honest portrait of himself yet.

Born out of a year of intense soul-searching, 'Homegrown' finds the Tottenham artist, born Jordan Adebiyi, reconciling where he's from with where he's headed, moving between celebratory pour-up records and confessional, introspective moments, always chasing the truth of whatever he's feeling in the moment. That tension comes into sharp focus on 'Bittersweet', produced by Kaytranada and 4x GRAMMY winner Rance, where a hypnotic house groove pulls against Nippa's internal monologue: "Am I too focused, doing too much? / Is this a moment, or is this a rush?" he asks, before giving into the night entirely. The track arrives today alongside its official video.

The EP's title track, featuring longtime collaborator Blxst, set the tone for this new era; a nostalgic bridge between two cities and two artists rooted in perseverance, which recently soundtracked the launch of Tottenham Hotspur's new 2026/27 kit, a full-circle moment for the North London-raised singer. "I can't help but feel like I've achieved something that my younger self would be proud of", he says.

Elsewhere, 'Kacey' with Jordan Ward makes the case that no amount of glamour beats the comfort of home, while 'Just Vibe' leans into Nippa's dance and electronic influences, and the guitar-streaked closer 'I'm Scared To Be Left Alone' lays his insecurities bare without pretending to have them figured out.

For Nippa, 'Homegrown' is as much a letter to Tottenham as it is a launchpad, a project rooted in where he's from, built for wherever he's going next.
