Paige Bea Drops Dark, Feminist Anthem 'Worth It'

Headline show at London's The Lower Third announced for 13th November

Paige Bea is back with a new single from her upcoming EP 'Flutters', set to drop via DMY Artists with backing from Help Musicians this July.

'Worth It' is a compelling exploration of the uncertainties and frustrations that come with the early stages of a relationship.

As the artist wrote on Instagram: "It’s about desperately wanting - no, *needing* - a new lover to stop with the over-therapised, self-protective BS that holds us back from the possibility of love!!! P.S. don’t expect me to fall into any gendered expectations of what a woman should do (e.g. give birth, be a peacemaker) in a relationship."

Ultimately, 'Worth It' encourages us to embrace love despite its uncertainties. This thematic boldness intertwines with a dark, industrial pop sound. Produced in Berlin by Gabriel Gifford (BODUR, August Charles, Harvey Causon), the track draws from the city’s vibrant electronic scene. Fittingly, a rave-inspired bass drives the verses while Paige demonstrates her piano-playing prowess on the dramatic middle eight.

As well as the release of her new single, Paige Bea has also announced her next headline show, taking place at The Lower Third in London's Soho on Wednesday 13th November.

Promising "a very ambitious and complicated live show", as well as some "extra special guests", tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 21st June.
