phonewifey and Traitor tease their collaborative EP with dark-edged single 'OUTDATED'

phonewifey continues their impressive output this year with a brand new single ‘OUTDATED’.

After appearing on Seattle-based transfeminine artist luvseat‘s all-star hyper-rap tune ‘¡ADIOS!’ last week, phonewifey is back with their very own release, this time teasing a forthcoming collaborative EP with Traitor.

Combining Traitor’s unrelenting slow beats and beautiful pulsating chords with phonewifey’s inimitably glossy production, the new track is a true 50/50 hybrid of styles showcasing ethereal sounds alongside more ominous, angrier moments. 

The first single from their upcoming joint project ‘Age of Wonder’, ‘OUTDATED’ follows phonewifey’s recent singles ‘CLUB AFFIRMATIONS’ featuring heartcoregirl as well as the EDM dance floor weapon ‘Turn It Down’ featuring hardstyle producer ODG.

As one of London’s most experimental underground talents, phonewifey continues to prove why they’re one of the most consistent rising artists about right now, closing out the year in the same prolific fashion they started it.
