Premiere: DJ Seinfeld takes an ambient approach to James Heather's 'MHope'

Last year, pianist James Heather released his ‘Stories From Far Away on Piano’ album – a beautiful, fragile record that established him as one of the post-classical artists operating in the orbit as Max Richter or Nils Frahm.

Now, Coldcut's label Ahead Of Our Time is putting out a compilation album of reworks of Heather's debut LP, drawing together contributions from the likes of Echo Collective, Aparde, Sarah Davachi and DJ Seinfeld.

Eschewing the kind of crunchy vintage house he's made a name with, Seinfeld opts for a more ambient approach on his rework of 'MHope', which we're thrilled to be premiering below.
