Premiere: Gabsphere - Birth

Enrico Caldini, otherwise known as Gabsphere, is a club music producer from Italy, currently living in Venice, with previous releases on Ordo Spectro and Classical Trax. In addition to studying design, he is a becoming an accomplished musician in his own right, and will release his new EP, Broadly Speaking, on November 17 on Far East Sound.

The project was inspired by the gloomy skies and back-alleys of Venice. He explores the sounds and colours of this historic city from sunset to sunrise, uncovering hidden ghosts and long-forgotten secrets.

On 'Birth', premiering below, Gabsphere expertly weaves together threads from many genres to craft a sound that harkens back to the heyday of the Ventian club scene. Tradition, as a result, is placed in the mixing bowl along with present sounds for a potent mixture.
