Premiere: LAFAWNDAH - Chili (rRoxymore Remix)

Exciting genre-bending singer LAFAWNDAH has handed over Chili, a balmy, sneaky mover from her debut EP, over to Berlin's rRoxymore. If Chili wasn't already shot through with an air of paranoia and uncertainty, it most definitely is now. 

rRoxymore – who counts Planningtorock among her admirers – is making a habit of these off-centre reworks: while The Knife's Without You My Life Would Be Boring was one the duo's most hook-led tracks on 'Shaking The Habitual', it was left a little worse for wear after rRoxymore doused it in zany textures and reassembled it from the ground up. rRoxymore's personality certainly seeps into these remixes, with Chili being led down dub-by paths that weren't overt on the original, and we welcome more of them from the Huntleys + Palmers and Human Level associate.
