Premiere: Marquis Hawkes - What A Relief

Following on from the acclaimed 'Fifty Fathoms' and 'Raw Materials', Marquis Hawkes returns with his third release on Houndstooth, the 'Sweet' EP.

Aimed directly at the floor, ‘Sweet’ draws attention to the groove. R&B vocals led the way on opener When I Get Home, giving way to some freestyle flecked boogie on At The Witness Stand and a deeper cut of vocal house on title track Sweet. 

Closing track What A Relief, exclusively streaming below, is the ruffest of the set. Percolating rhythms and rushing percussion suck the listener in, bubbling up to form a hypnotic house track that's bound to leave dancefloors spellbound.
