10 Best Reworks/Bootlegs according to Eliza Rose

Fresh from the release of her new Sega Bodega-produced album 'ARCADIA:PLEASUREDOME', Eliza Rose digs into her personal record collection to spotlight 10 of her favourite reworks, bootlegs and edits.

The Hackney-born vocalist, DJ and producer has long been rooted in the UK’s underground club culture, with a deep appreciation for the art of taking a familiar track and transforming it into something entirely new. It’s an instinct that runs through her own work, from her genre-blurring productions to her approach as a selector, and now she’s turning that ear towards some of the reworks that have stayed in her rotation.

“Sharing some of my favourite bootlegs from my personal collection, I have long been a fan of an edit // bootleg // remix,” Eliza says. “I love the idea of things being reimagined and reworked, somebody taking a piece of music and making it their own.”

Following the darker, nostalgic world of 'ARCADIA:PLEASUREDOME', this selection offers another window into the influences and instincts that have shaped Eliza’s musical world - celebrating the creativity, irreverence and dancefloor magic of a great rework.

"As a die hard UKG fan this is one I just love. Reworking vocals is such huge staple of UKG – very much the foundation – and this has been done so well, I used to rinse this one after Covid as it felt like a call back to normality."
