Troy Everett Pushes Boundaries on New Single 'L3t g0'

Percussive cello, reversed screams, and raw emotion power this cinematic R&B experiment.

Experimental producer and multi-instrumentalist Troy Everett returns with 'L3t g0' - a bold, genre-defying single that fuses orchestral intensity with left-field R&B. Forgoing traditional drums, Everett leans into percussive cello strikes, sweeping strings, and haunting atmospheres that evoke the tension of a film score - think John Williams meets 'Vespertine'-era Björk.

The track builds with cinematic flair, culminating in a chilling finale of reversed screams that lingers long after the final note. It’s a daring statement from an artist equally comfortable in concert halls and underground clubs.

Fresh off tour dates across Japan and North America alongside OMA and hip hop legend Shing02, Everett crafted 'L3t g0' as a reflection of his renewed creative energy. Known for his orchestral work with artists like Doechii (notably her 64M-streamed hit 'Alter Ego'), femdot., and Billianne, he now steps fully into the spotlight as a solo visionary.

Based in New York but raised in D.C., Everett blends his classical roots with influences from Gorillaz, Deftones, and experimental electronica. “L3t g0” is the first taste of more genre-blending music to come later this year, positioning Everett as one of the most exciting boundary-pushers in today’s alternative R&B and electronic scenes.

'L3t g0' is out now.
