Aussie electronic producer Willaris. K has officially announced his debut album 'Everything Is As It Should Be', set for release on 1st November. Alongside the announcement, he’s dropped a high-energy new single, 'Guard' — a pulsating, dancefloor-ready track that further establishes his sound.

The debut album, years in the making, marks a turning point for Willaris. K, also known as Jack McAllister. Originally envisioned to be something entirely different, the project took on new meaning after a series of personal setbacks. As he navigated these challenges, the album evolved into a powerful expression of the complex emotions he’s experienced.

"‘Guard’ captures me finding peace in what the Willaris. K sound was at the start,” he says. “It has the same energy the project first had, but with a more realised perspective. I'm not trying to force that sound — it’s me revisiting it with pure intentions this time.”

Crafted spontaneously in his Melbourne studio, 'Guard' received its final touches from Julian Hamilton of The Presets, who contributed the soaring synth line. This collaboration is significant, as Hamilton’s influence was a catalyst for McAllister’s early interest in electronic music.

'Guard' follows recent releases like the evocative 'I Miss You Now' and the hard-hitting 'Backbackback', cementing 'Everything Is As It Should Be' as a deeply personal debut.
