A three decade-spanning UK rave documentary is being released this month
Better Days: The Story of UK Rave documents over 30 years of rave culture.
Directed by MOBO nominee Hugo Jenkins, the documentary presented by Amazon Music features commentary from scene pioneers including Paul Hartnoll of Orbital, Terry Farley, Colin Dale and Luke Unabomber.
It also focuses on some of the scene’s current frontrunners, including Sherelle, Afrodeutsche, Denis Sulta, Dance System, Prospa and TSHA, and has been given a bespoke score created by Overmono.
The soundtrack also includes two soon-to-be-released Amazon Original tracks: a Special Request remix of Orbital’s ‘Chime’ and Dance System featuring Rush Davis, ‘Better Days’.
The documentary premieres live on Twitch on 28th May at 19:00 BST. It will be available in the Amazon Music app and on the Amazon Music YouTube channel from 31st May.
