Black The Ripper passes away aged 32
Black The Ripper has passed away aged 32.
The North London MC, real name Dean West, emerged onto the rap scene in the early 2000s and shot to fame with mixtapes such as ‘Afro Samurai’ and ‘Holla Black’.
In recent times, Black The Ripper was also known for his dedication towards publicly campaigning for the legalisation of cannabis in the UK.
The cause of his death is currently unconfirmed.
Hordes of fellow artists have come out on social media to pay their respects to the late rapper, including Chip, who lamented the fact that mourners would not be able to attend the funeral due to the coronavirus pandemic, writing: “I know the people would wanna come out for him. RIP Black The Ripper.”
