Drake's OVO Sound releases the Top Boy soundtrack

Coinciding with the return of popular series Top Boy, OVO Sound has released a soundtrack of 17 tracks from some of the UK’s most significant artists including Dave, Little Simz, AJ Tracey, Headie One, Ghetts, Fredo, in addition to OVO-signed artists Baka Not Nice, Popcaan and Drake himself.

With ten brand new episodes of Season 3 premiering on Netflix today, the Hackney-based crime drama revives following Drake’s interest in the series, with the world’s best-known rapper as its executive producer.

“At first it was kind of, just for me, I was like – I need this back. But then I realised how much it meant to so many people,” Drake told Netflix at the premiere.

The series of Top Boy also sees Dave and Little Simz showcasing their acting skills.

The news comes after Wiley criticised Drake openly on social media, saying the Canadian rapper was holding up the release of his album.
