XL to release Portishead's 'Chase The Tear' on vinyl

Portishead’s ‘Chase The Tear’ will receive a limited one-off vinyl release from XL Recordings. This track was originally a digital release that came out in 2009, but will now be made available as a 12” single, featuring a remix by Toronto’s Doldrums on the B-side, due out on the 8th October. There will be 200 signed copies available at the XL Recordings stall at the Independent Label Market in New York.

‘Chase The Tear’ will then get a full worldwide release on 14th November. The record will include a download code for digital download of the MP3s, and will also be available for purchase at Portishead live shows.

XL will release Portishead’s single ‘Chase The Fear’ on 8th October in the US, while full worldwide release is due on 14th November, 2011
