Pulp might have played their last ever gig

Frontman Jarvis Cocker tells the Electric Picnic festival crowd "this may be the last time" that Pulp play live together.

During Pulp’s gig at the Irish festival Electric Picnic on Sunday night (4th September), it was heavily hinted that the band may have reached the end of their reunion, leaving fans worried that they may not have the chance to see the group play live again.

Before playing Common People , Cocker informed the 30,000-strong crowd that “This may be the last time we’re ever all on stage together again.” He also warned, earlier in the set, “This is the last gig of the tour, so if we start crying or get emotional, you’ll understand.”

The set, which was filled with the band’s hits, culminated in Cocker stating, “maybe our paths will cross again” before leaving the stage.

The band played at twenty-two festivals across Europe and Australia during their reunion this summer, as well as hosting two one-off gigs at the O2 Brixton Academy.
