phonewifey and AVA AKIRA star in grainy after-hours visual for 'Recall'

Experimental London-based artists phonewifey and AVA AKIRA share their new single and video for ‘Recall’, the first offering from their forthcoming joint EP ‘phoneAVA’, out July 30th.

Meshing phonewifey’s glitchy production and autotune vocals with AVA’s melodic emo-leaning flows, the pair show why they were recently included in our 10 Best Emerging Hyperpop Artists list. The grainy VHS video was shot by ERSATZ and sees the duo cut about London at night while performing the new cut.

The eclectic five-track project, which we’ve been working on via our DMY Artists, showcases the duo’s love of dance pop, emo rap, glittering synth-heavy production and club-bangers, and features collaborations with Kid Trash and Snowblood
