Premiere: The Soft - Mori

Suffolk trio The Soft have released a video for their new track Mori, due to be released on New York’s Ceremony. True to the band’s name, Mori actually sounds as if it’s in soft focus, a luscious piece peppered with textural guitars and expansive, new age synths, and its pastel-coloured video is equally hazed out and distant, a mysterious spinning CGI head in the middle of it all. Musically and visually, it all plays out like a ‘band’ version of Steve Hauschildt’s recent album ‘Sequitur’, which is certainly no bad thing.
