The Chemical Brothers announce new album 'For That Beautiful Feeling' with new visual

The forthcoming record drops September 8...

The Chemical Brothers have dropped a music video to go alongside news of their forthcoming album 'For That Beautiful Feeling'.

After sharing new single 'Live Again' towards the end of last month, as well as revealing plans for their debut book, the electronic duo are continuing their run of form with a visual accompaniment for their latest offering.

Directed by longtime collaborators Dom & Nic, the stunning new video makes use of virtual CGI worlds and long unbroken camera takes to piece together the cinematic final result.

“Working with the Chemical Brothers is a dream for any video director. We’re really lucky to be still making films together after quite a few years,” Dom & Nic said in a press statement. “The Chems just keep smashing it with great tracks that demand videos that live up to the music and hopefully add something extra to the whole experience. ‘Live Again’ is our 10th collaboration… the woozy, wonky analog sounds and the dreamlike lyric suggested a hallucinogenic visual journey following a character caught in a loop of death and rebirth.”

'Live Again' is described as the “perfect Chemical Brothers track” and sees the pair tap into the signature elements that brought about some of their biggest hits, such as ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’ and ‘Galvanise’.

'For That Beautiful Feeling' is due for release through Republic Records/Virgin EMI on September 8, 2023.

The book is due for release on October 28 via White Rabbit (pre-order here).
