Unknown T recreates cafe scene from Top Boy in new visual 'Who said drill's dead?'

It's the first time fans have seen Dushane return to the screen since Top Boy season 2

After featuring on Nafe Smallz’s ‘Legacy’ project track ‘Sky Dweller’ last month, Unknown T returns in style with a brand new two-part freestyle, complete with a cinematic visual.

Entitled ‘Who said drill’s dead?’, the new single is split into two separate tracks, ‘JUST LANDED’ and ‘BATTY & BENCH’, showcasing the Homerton rapper’s inimitable flows in his trademark style.

The Dir Lx-directed music video recreates one of the famous cafe scenes from hit Netflix series Top Boy, seeing Unknown T and Ashley Walters face off in a tense discussion before the rapper exits the building and drops part 2 of the freestyle in the black-and-white stairwell of a block of flats. It’s the first time fans have seen Dushane return to the screen since the second season of Top Boy dropped earlier in the year.

At just 22 years-old, the Homerton lyricist has embarked on a rollercoaster of a career so far, establishing himself as a consistent provider of some of the UK’s hottest bars before he abruptly found himself behind them. After dropping his latest mixtape ‘Adolescence’ in July last year, he’s looking to take the UK and beyond by storm again this summer.
