DJ Koze - My Plans feat. Matthew Dear

Following on from his recent collaboration with Caribou, Hamburg producer DJ Koze has unveiled My Plans, taken from his forthcoming album ‘Amygdala’. The groovy track features vocals from leftfield electronic artist/occasional techno dabbler Matthew Dear, and is as eccentric as anything that either musician has come up with before. It’s a weird one – the tone is somewhat dark at times, but the funky sample that drops in on occasion is clearly bright, fun and celebratory. It could easily be a botch job in anyone else’s hands but Kosi’s.

Shame about that album art, though.
