Four Tet stamps his sound across Everything But The Girl's 'Nothing Left To Lose'
Everything But The Girl have shared a new Four Tet remix of their recent track 'Nothing Left To Lose'.
The release leads a new remix EP of the track, complete with an instrumental version of Four Tet’s remix and two additional mixes by Watt and Bruno Ellingham.
Speaking about the new remix, Everything But the Girl said: “We’ve always loved that meditative but propulsive thing in [Four Tet aka] Kieran [Hebden]’s music. The restraint mixed with momentum. It is something that we often explore as well, so asking him to rework one of our songs felt like a great fit. There is a confident lightness of touch to his remix, underpinned by a raw killer beat, and a beautiful final third where all the subtle intricacies of his additional production coalesce.”
The duo's new album 'Fuse' - their first since 1999's 'Temperamental' - lands April 21.
