Frozemode Return With Electrifying Anthem, 'BLACK HOLE'
Following on from their recent fiery single, 'ASBO BOYS,' London's Frozemode are back with a new banger, 'BLACK HOLE.'
Known for their boundary-breaking sound, 'BLACK HOLE' embodies the group's signature high-energy style, blending heavy drums with roaring flows. The track’s frenzied rhythm and introspective lyrics explore the theme of using bad habits as an escape from life's pressures. The chorus, "I think I’m getting numb / To filling this abyss / Been running from the black hole / But starting to admit," captures the raw emotion and self-awareness at the heart of the song.
“Sometimes we find ourselves using bad habits to run away from our problems and sometimes this can get you stuck in a spiral or 'black hole', where those problems are never solved,” Frozemode explain. “With the sound of this track we tried to reflect the fact that on the surface everything looks like a party, but underneath it everything’s a lot muddier than it seems.”
Delving into themes of defeat and the complexity of human emotions, Frozemode's ability to juxtapose high-energy music with profound lyrics is fast making them key players in the alt-rap scene.
'BLACK HOLE' is out now via Distiller Records.
