Ivohé dives into her psyche with cinematic new single 'splitting'
German-Venezuelan artist Ivohé is back with a brand new double offering to get her year underway for good.
After Bristol-paced DJ SSSLIP turned an Ivohé's fan favourite track - 'Huevitos Fritos' - into a certified club banger, the rising songstress delivers a two new tracks: 'splitting' and 'suave'.
Lead single 'splitting' presents a deep dive into Ivohé's psyche, ranging from a sense of doom all the way to ecstasy with layered, evolving synths and silky vocals.
Bonus track 'suave' arrives as a continuation to 'splitting', bringing Ivohé's story full circle as she finds resolve and reconciliation in intimacy. Inspired by bossa nova rhythms, the track's intricate jungle breaks announces not only a shift in tempo but also in energy.
The Berlin based singer is planning a year full of single releases and live shows around Europe this year, setting up 2023 to be her biggest and best year to date.
