Joell Shares 10-Track Mixtape 'No Flowers Without Rain'

It chronicles Joell's journey for love and understanding

Scottish artist Joell has shared his highly-anticipated project, 'No Flowers Without Rain'; 10 tracks encompassing the pain Joell has felt in his search for love, self, a home, family, and fans who understand him.

The desire to be wanted, to be seen and heard comes through in the oftentimes tense and eerie soundscapes created by Joell's vocals, and the emotions laid bare in his lyrics.

Working on 'No Flowers Without Rain' - which features pre-released single, 'Safe Outside' - has helped Joell to find his true identity as an artist. While trying and testing out different hats, Joell felt "shy and scared" to show his true music and self. Now, he's at a stage where he feels confident in his sound and its uniqueness.

Despite the adversity Joell has faced in chasing his dreams, he remains steadfast in his message of motivation: "You won’t get your flowers without facing the rain, so go for it!"
