KAVYA Calls Upon Kristy Harper for 'MN' Club Remix

The first release from KAVYA's imminent remix EP

Delhi-hailing artist, producer and songwriter, KAVYA, is injecting club-centric sounds into her back catalogue.

A three track remix EP sees KAVYA take songs from her 2021 debut EP, 'Know Me Better', and bring them to the dancefloor.

The first release is a remix by London-based DJ/producer, Kristy Harper, who has added her own flair to KAVYA's track 'MN'.

The original blends KAVYA's R&B vocals with electronic production, while Kristy's revamp increases the BPM, introducing 909 percussion, a deep system-1 bass and 90s hollow organ chords. The result is an energetic club-ready offering that instantly transports to the four walls of a dark, sweaty dancefloor.

The remix EP is a fitting homage to KAVYA's debut project as she gears up to drop her sophomore EP, ‘Hyperreal’, later this year. The upcoming body of work will showcase an evolution in KAVYA's existing production, adding a gritty edge to her vocals while exploring folklore through the lens of cinematic sounds.
