Kelela and PinkPantheress Link on Dreamy Track 'the bridge'

It's the final preview of Kelela's album 'new avatar' ahead of release on Friday.

Kelela has teamed up with PinkPantheress for new single 'the bridge', the final taste of Kelela's forthcoming album 'new avatar', which arrives this Friday.

Marking the pair's second collaboration (following 2023's 'Bury Me' on PinkPantheress' debut album 'Heaven Knows'), new tune 'the bridge' blends Kelela's ethereal vocals with PinkPantheress' unmistakable delivery over a shimmering, atmospheric backdrop.

The track offers another glimpse into 'new avatar', an album that sees Kelela move beyond the electronic R&B of 'Raven' in favour of a more guitar-led palette, drawing together elements of shoegaze, indie rock, grunge and her signature futuristic songwriting.

'the bridge' follows Kelela's recently released singles 'idea 1', 'linknb', 'point blank' and 'outta time', with the album also featuring collaborations from A.K. Paul and Fousheé.
