Kojey Radical teams up with KZ again on coming-of-age anthem '25'

The fiercely creative rapper spits flames over a KZ production...

East London’s Kojey Radical continues to fiercely carve out his own lane with ’25’, a celebration of the poet-turned-rapper’s 25th year.

Having recently teamed up with Swindle for the blistering anthem ‘Coming Home‘, Kojey now taps up regular beatmaker KZ for ’25’, a track that represents his journey into the midst of adulthood.

“I’ve had a little bit of time and reflect as of late, a younger version of me would never believe how far we’ve managed to go,” Kojey said of the track, his first solo effort since ’97’/’Pure’. “The lessons I’ve learnt in life are often reflected in my music and I wanted to create a record that mimics the energy of my youth and my understandings as an adult. I recently celebrated my birthday and I feel energised and more hungry than ever. New music is coming. Expect the unexpected.”

As well as his recent link-up with Swindle, the creative rapper recently featured on Ghetts’ ‘Ghetto Gospel: The New Testament’ (which we named as one of our 25 best albums of 2018).
